AMG are very excited to announce their inspiring, creative, career mentoring program. This program forms part of the blueprint for an enhanced student experience, and is the career development component of the ground breaking, International Debt Free Scholarship Scheme.


AMG have been piloting the mentoring scheme since January 2014, nurturing our team of interns who are working on the development, fund raising and promotional campaign for The International Debt Free Scholarship Scheme.


The interns are mentored by our advisory team that includes Jamie Binns (Lateral Management – Paloma Faith, Taio Cruz), LMBA Manager of The Year, Kwame Kwaten (Laura Mvula, Rumer, Shannon Saunders), George James (Be-HOOKD – The Script, The Wanted, Jamaraquai), Andy Cleary (Eskimo Media & Technology), Michael Herberger (Xavier Naidoo, Sönne Mannheims), Ron Shabbazz (Telecoms & Property Millionaire and Author) and renowned play-write Kwame Kwei Armah MBE.

Mentor Expectations

Whilst being a mentor is extremely rewarding, there are of course some important criteria that you as a member of our mentoring network should consider. These are related to availability, length of commitment and the mentoring practices that are listed below.


Each mentoring relationship is designed to last 6 months, with a one month trial period. There is an option to extend the mentoring relationship by an additional 6 months, on a case by case basis.


The mentoring program is designed to equip mentees with useful skills and knowledge that they will acquire as a result of their relationship with you.
